The 309 is for everyone. There are no dues to be in The 309 and there is no sign-up process. If you want to join The 309, you are in! The 309 is an inclusive group that represents the diversity of Peoria and its surrounding areas.

The 309 was started by Drew Clark in 2022. During the club's first season, Clark and a small group began standing and participating in organized chants. By the end of the 2024 season, The 309 grew to hundreds of members in attendance at each match and has sold out the supporters section on multiple occasions. 

We pride ourselves on being the heartbeat of Peoria City. The 309 helps energize the stadium and the players on the pitch. We look forward to our continued support of the men's team in USL League Two and are eager to support Peoria City's new women's squad in the WPSL. Our support doesn't stop at Shea Stadium. Expect The 309 to follow our squads to away matches and be present at local events. 

The 309 is also committed to bettering our community. Our name is a nod to the area code in which we live. The group will participate in local community events and outreach opportunities. In 2025, we will look to have fundraising and outreach opportunities to aid Coach Mike's Amos Foundation.
